This evening I went for a dinner and a drive with my two friends, Kirsty and Pauline, after work. There is something about spending time with these two that just makes me smile. They are such good company, they can laugh with you, at you or at themselves and we have the same taste in music, a certain prerequisite for a good friendship.
After dinner, Kirst and I had planned to watch the first episode of the new season on Gilmore Girls. We were heading back to mine to watch it, making use of my brothers Netflix and the bigger television in the lounge room. To our horror, upon returning home, my dad, brother and his friend had assumed position in front of the television like it was their right or something to watch the football. Safe to say, back up plans were swiftly enforced and we went to watch it at Kirsty’s house, begrudgingly.
