Dia Doscientos Cuarenta y Dos // Day Two Hundred & Forty-Two

28.08.2016 Sunday

Dad and I took a drive out west! Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t really to see the sights and get in touch with the Australian Outback as I have never been a fan of travelling west unless absolutely necessary. Today, Dad had to do a delivery job to a town called Esk which lies just beyond the Wivenhoe Dam. I decided to do the little road trip with him to keep him company. The drive is only two hours one way, but we stopped for a coffee and a toasted sandwich for the trip back home. I’ve always thought the countryside here looks ugly compared to that in Europe, if the grass was greener and the foliage on the trees a bit thicker, it probably wouldn’t look much different to the rolling hills of England.
