Dia Ciento Cincuenta y Dos // Day One Hundred & Fifty-Two

30.05.2016 Monday

Today is Memorial Day here in America – day public holiday and a day where Americans remember those who lost their lives fighting for their country.

We ventured back into the Soho area of New York City and walked our way up and down streets and in and out of shops without a direction or a set plan; the best way to explore new places, in my opinion. I loved walking through Little Italy as the atmosphere was brilliant and actually felt quite like being in the country itself.

This evening we walked down through Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO. I never knew what DUMBO stood for until we walked through the area tonight. For the record, it means Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass.
