A walk through West Wood of a Saturday evening was just what I needed. The bluebells were in full bloom and the sun was shining. The only downside to my walk was the fact that I only saw one other person out walking. Everyone should have been outside. Everyone should have experienced the slightly cool breeze in their face or squinted as the sun shone through the trees. I think it’s upsetting that most people don’t know the beauty of nature that exists metres from their doorstep. It doesn’t matter if you live in the Lake District with an abundance of natural features or whether you live in a city with predominantly man-made structures, there will always be something you have never seen before; it might just require you to look at it from a different perspective.
