Dia Sesenta y Siete // Day Sixty-Seven

07.03.2016 Monday

Today’s photo is for my mum.

Yesterday was Mother’s Day here in England, it wasn’t Mother’s Day back home in Australia but that didn’t stop me from missing my mum more than usual as I saw families having lunch together or sharing an afternoon walk. I pass this road sign almost everyday and it never ceases to remind me of the person who puts me first no matter what, the person of whom I look up to and who I know, loves me unconditionally. A day doesn’t pass where I don’t think of my Mum and how much I miss her and although modern technology is brilliant in allowing me to talk to her at any time of the day or drop of a hat, sometimes I just want to share things with her; it’s normally a view, a meal or a car journey. Doing the simple everyday things together can be so easily taken for granted yet so easily cherished too.
