I thought I’d use this in today’s post. Some of you may have seen something similar, particularly with the recent popularity of ‘fitbits’ and the like. I got a Garmin VivoFit for Christmas and I love it. I’m always interested in how many steps I take in a day and how it differs depending on what I’m doing; whether I’m at work, on holiday or just doing jobs around the house.
This photo shows the steps I have taken in the past week, totalling approximately 93km. I find it intriguing how all the little steps you take in a day, from the moment you wake to the moment you fall asleep (well maybe not if you’re a sleepwalker!), all add up to a total. Some steps I can vividly remember taking, for example the steps on the way up to Arthur’s Seat, others just form part of my everyday routine.
